Aurel BCG provides a 10% increase on the ACC in 2010

December 31, 2009 - 7:19 am Comments Off

Scenario "mixed" in 2010, Aurel BCG. For the investment company, next year will look like a year of transition, marked by a gradual normalization of interest rates decided by the central banks, and during which growth must learn to stand on its own wings in freeing themselves from support plans of governments.

Buoyed by forecasts of the International Monetary Fund, which reported a growth in world GDP of 3.9% in 2010 – with Asia as the main engine (+9.5% for China and 7.5 % for India) – Aurel Leven provides that the government plans to continue to support recovery activities, at least the first half of 2010.

For the second half of the year, Aurel precludes any recovery scenario L or W.The broker sees a recovery "classic" of activity, namely a recovery of employment and investment after a dynamic side of the business activity. According to Christian Parisot, Director of Research of Aurel, central banks are "very progressive" back their rates. The broker forecasts indicate a refinancing rate to 1.5% at end 2010, the United States and Europe, 2% in the United Kingdom and 0.3% in Japan."In addition, the movement of recovery will give a boost to international trade," said Christian Parisot at a presentation of his predictions for 2010 in early December.

Go back, go back for more

Financial markets later, Alexander the Drogoff, head of technical analysis at Aurel, displays a degree of caution in the first quarter, "markets should shrink during the first weeks of the year, while stock indexes hit areas strong psychological resistance, "he said at the conference.Between March and December 2009, the European stock indices and U.S. have in effect removed between 40 and 60% of losses incurred between September 2007 and March 2009.

Specifically, Aurel table on a retracement between 930 and 960 points the S & P 500 (approximately -15%) horizon three months, before resuming the path gently rising, reaching timidly 1 200 points at the end of 2010. In Europe, the DJ Stoxx 600, around 250 points in late 2009, is expected between 215 and 220 points in the month of February.

In Paris the CAC 40, which hovers around 3800 points since early December, should yield about 5% in three months horizon for refranchir the 4,000 points in mid-2010 and peak at 4300 points by December 2010. On a year the Parisian flagship index would therefore rise by just over 10%. Same forecast Frankfurt the Dax 30 should clinch a little over 600 points in one year, to 6.400 points.Overall, for 2010, Aurel recommends priority areas of distribution and supply in a context of economic recovery. The chemistry, technology stocks and health are also recommended. In contrast, the automotive sector and the activities of banks and insurance are excluded. (INFOGRAPHY 2?)

The Fed played a very

For Aurel, 2010 should not book too many surprises: a priori, only changes in the communication from the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) could induce a violent reaction in the bond market and the dollar, but we believe the tightening of Monetary policy will be smooth, "said Christian Parisot. In contrast, 2011, uncertainties, while the fiscal tightening needed to cope with issues of size: the public accounts.Especially as the interest rate long-term risk of straining the economy recovers – Aurel is 4.2% at twelve months, against 3.3% in Europe today – a much higher cost of debt .

The dollar should, according to the Bureau of analysis, continue to strengthen against major currencies after signs of improvement in the U.S. economy. "Now the dollar is now several months since an indicator of risk aversion," said Christian Parisot, adding that when the dollar appreciates, the fear of risk is increasing and the stock markets are penalized.According to Aurel BCG, the dollar should rise further, to the "pivot area" of 1.4625 dollars per euro, "and why not climb to 1.35 in six months," Alexander Legrodoff omen.

Regarding gold, Aurel anticipates a "zone of turbulence", after an explosive year 2009 when the yellow metal has chained record after record, with a zenith at 1210 dollars an ounce hit in early December. "Considering past trends and technical indicators, the gold price is expected to contract 25 to 30% off at $ 1,000, or return the $ 925 threshold in the coming weeks," Alexander the Drogoff supports.

The presidency of the G20 must allow Seoul to play in the big league

November 18, 2009 - 5:56 pm Comments Off

Next year, South Korea will chair the G20, the group that includes the twenty largest economies in the world. She is so proud that the story would that President Lee Myung-bak has generously sprinkled his victory with Korean journalists on the flight back from Pittsburgh last September.

But the G20 is especially for Korea the opportunity to switch permanently to the big boys. Member of the OECD since 1996, it still suffers from an image of countries whose development it would get rid of. The prospect of the chairmanship of the G20 now gives him the means to take the step that separates the camp from rich countries.

The government does not say. But the past of heavy industry in Korea, automotive, shipbuilding, which earned him once beautiful success in foreign markets, it sticks a little too much skin. The "green growth" advocates now she must give him the tools to turn the page. "It's a gamble on new technologies and innovation," said Lee Dong-keun, Deputy Director, Department of Economics.

Behind the Japanese

The automaker Hyundai knows, like many Korean business leaders, he launches into this race with a long lag behind the Japanese. "But we are confident and ready to fight," he said. "The technology is a challenge that we face at the same time as we are moving increasingly towards service activities with high added value," added Chung Tong-soo, head of Invest Korea, the national agency promotion of foreign investment in the country.

The government were eleven service activities he wants to deregulate, including banks and health. Two very promising market for foreign investors, which ensures the state, are also associated with major projects related to green agenda of President Lee Myung-bak. The details of their participation have not been finalized, but they are "in December," says Yoo Beom-sik, director of international cooperation in the presidential committee for Green Growth. And until the country increasing the economic zones. No fewer than six are currently under construction.

Scrapping bonus: the device is extended

October 27, 2009 - 1:47 pm Comments Off

Good news for car manufacturers but also for buyers. The payment of the scrapping bonus of 1,000 euros for motor vehicles delivered in 2009 will be extended to those purchased until December 31, even if delivery takes place in 2010, announced Minister of Industry, Christian Estrosi in Le Parisien this Friday.

Christian Estrosi was reported in mid-October that the government was studying the measure for the automotive industry, badly affected by the economic crisis.

"The customers who order a vehicle before December 31, 2009 will receive the premium of 1,000 euros even if the supply does in the first quarter of 2010," said Minister of Industry Parisien. One detail that is important. So far, it should be delivered and invoiced before the end of the year to receive 1 000 bonus for breaking.Otherwise, the buyer could not receive the premium reduced to 700 euro, applicable from 1 January, which has cooled many consumers.

He added: "Now is therefore the order date and not the billing date which is valid to qualify for the bonus. We wanted this change, first for it benefits the consumer, then to absorb more manufacturers to reduce the amount of the premium.

He also recalled that the premium would go to 700 euros in the first half of 2010 and 500 euros in the second. From 2011, "we will return to the previous situation with a bonus amounting to 300 euros," he added.

He said 400,000 vehicles have already benefited from the premium to scrap today and "we should reach 500,000 by the end of the year."

Christian Estrosi also believes that the super eco bonus will also be a strong incentive, "over the scrapping bonus, since buyers of clean vehicles that emit less than 60 grams of CO2 per kilometer will enjoy a bonus of 5,000 euros" .

Believing that the bonus had saved the French manufacturers, said he expected in return "a very strong solidarity with sub-contractors because they are the ones most affected by the crisis."

The Federation of Industries of equipment for vehicles (Fiev) said in mid-October that it expected a general decline in activity from 20 to 25% in 2009, after starting the year with production falling by almost 50%.

This reduction would result, she says, by a decline in enrollment this year included "in a range between 7 and 10%" of the 107,000 employees of the sector.
